The February half-term holiday is the perfect time to treat the family to a break in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire.
There are cottages of all shapes and sizes and activities galore for children of all ages, from kayaking on the Beaulieu River to visiting exciting museums, or perhaps just enjoying a crispy wintery walk with the family four-legged friend, learning about the ancient trees of the New Forest with free information available from the New Forest Heritage Centre in Lyndhurst.
Here is just a small selection of self-catering properties that are available this coming half term…

Sleek and chic, the property is surrounded on two sides by seaside views. To the left, the little blue boats in the Keyhaven boat harbour, and to the front the bird-filled salt marshes of the Solent.
