Gregg Wallace joins first ever New Forest Food & Drink Festival

A top TV personality is lined up for the first ever New Forest Food and Drink Festival, which takes place this autumn.

There will be a week of culinary events, produce tasting, dishes and activities for every foodie – and now a celebrity appearance. Taking place under 15 themes, the Festival will showcase the very best food and drink the Forest has to offer from October 31 – November 6 2016.

You’ve watched the TV programme, read the book and eaten the recipe. Now grab the chance to meet Mr MasterChef himself, Gregg Wallace, at Rhinefield House on Thursday November 3 when he’ll be rocking up as part of the New Forest’s first Food & Drink Festival’s ‘Tastes of the Forest’ theme.

Gregg, who started his career as a Covent Garden greengrocer, will be sharing the best stories from his Peckham childhood (he left school at 14 to start his greengrocery career) as well as giving the inside track on what it’s really like to be a TV star.

The evening’s been arranged so that Gregg can meet as many of his guests as possible, starting off with a welcome drinks reception and an opportunity to chat to him, and then a four-course dinner.

He’ll talk about each course as it is served and answer any questions throughout the meal – especially about the puddings! – before taking questions and offering the chance for photo opportunities.

He’s promising good food, good company and ‘a little misadventure’. But would his fans expect anything less?! Book now for ‘Dinner With Gregg’ on Thursday November 3, beginning at 7pm, £75 per person.
